The adjacent waters of the Strait of Georgia are world famous for salmon, oysters, & aquatic sight-seeing. 

You can explore the Sandy Island Provincial Park  which is directly opposite our house.  As it is a nature preserve, it can only be reached by small boat or kayak.

Beach access is found across the quiet road. Both the north and south ends of the road are used primarily by the residents of this enclave.

The public boat ramp is nearby.

Denman Island & Hornby Island are popular camping & beach destinations which can be reached by nearby ferries.
